Carline Reminders

Thank you so much for a successful carline today! Here are a few reminders that will help to expedite the process. 

--We appreciate your patience as we teach all of our new kids how this works! It is a very efficient process once everyone knows their role! 

--Please remember that you cannot park on the highway in front of the school. You will be asked to circle the block if you arrive before carline begins. Carline will begin at 3:20 because car riders are the last students dismissed in the building. If you need to be first in line, your best plan will be to park in the neighborhood across the street and walk over to get your child. These are the first students I call when I walk out.

--If you plan to walk over and pick your child up from our front door, please make sure that you have a hang tag with your child’s name on it. My mouth often moves faster than my brain and it is so much easier for me if I don’t have to stop and scroll the Rolodex of 670 children in my brain to find your child’s name. 

--Thank you so much to everyone who had their car tag ready to go for carline! I was able to call 99% of the kids today without stopping carline. If you need a hangtag, Mrs. Vance (kvance@leedsk12.org) can get one for you.

--We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!
